Susan Still Profile In Courage Award
The Susan Still Award is given annually to one Erie County resident who has dedicated his/her career to serving and advocating for victims of domestic/intimate partner violence and their families. The individuals service may include professional and/or volunteer experience. The individual will have demonstrated uncommon courage, tenacity, and compassion over a lifetime of exemplary service to victims of domestic violence.
The Buffalo News Founders Award
The Buffalo News Founders Award is given to one or more individuals or organizations who have demonstrated innovation in the creation and delivery of services to victims of domestic/intimate partner violence and their families and/or who have demonstrated innovation in the creation and delivery of education/outreach programs on this issue. The services and/or programs must have been delivered in Erie County.
